Q: Is your tumblr for art or is it a personal blog as well?A: My tumblr is just for my art.
Q: How often do you post art?A: It depends on how inspired I am on my projects. I have days where I’ll power through a painting in six hours and others where I have no desire to pick up a paintbrush whatsoever. If I had to guesstimate on how often I post, I’d say a couple times a week. It varies from detailed works to little sketches that my hands all of a sudden generate out of no where. Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works?A: Mostly just finished works, but every now and then I post progress pictures. Q: What types of mediums do you use?A: Whatever I can get my hands on. I love experimenting with new mediums and techniques, it allows for great self discovery. I’ve found my favorite things to work with are blue Papermate pen, watercolors and India ink.
Q: Describe your art style.A: Hm, that’s a tough one. Realism is really big with me but I also tend to go more in the direction of surrealism and sometimes even cartoonish drawings; my mood usually determines what comes out on the page. Q: Do you have any additional comments?A: Like most recent high school graduates, I’m still figuring out what I want to do with my life. I am attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and just recently changed my major from textile design to graphic design. I am excited to see the influence that this field of work will have on my art, and the growth it will provide me as a designer.
Also, I would like to thank you for this feature and helping me get my name out there.
