Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works?A: Only finished works. I do post occasional in-progress photos, as well as silly quick cartoons, on Instagram (@sirinthada).Q: What types of mediums do you use?A: I usually start by sketching in pencil, sometimes in ink, on heavyweight watercolor paper; then I color everything in with gouache. I also often use crayons, colored pencils, markers, and collaged bits of masking tape, to make it all a little more interesting.Q: Describe your art style.A: My work is a colorful concoction of everyday observations and embellished eavesdropping, mixed with a dash of pop culture. I am particularly drawn to the basic, boring struggles and emotions we all share. It’s a challenge I love, to depict these modern day mini-dramas in a way that is engaging and fun, hopefully sometimes funny, that can resonate with both the young and young-at-heart.
