Q: Is your tumblr for art or is it a personal blog as well?
A: It is for art; mostly mine, but some belonging to other people. And some opinions. When I first started, I strictly wanted to post images of my artwork and remain enigmatic on the “personal” side of things. And that turned out to be no fun. So I do a bit of everything!
Q: How often do you post art?
A: A couple times a month, but it’s very cyclical! Sometimes I’ll post a couple times in one week.
Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works?
A: I primarily post finished works, but sometimes I’ve put up in-progress images. I would like to explore sharing videos of my working process.
Q: What types of mediums do you use?
A: I think everything on my Tumblr right now is done in Photoshop. I am obsessed with that program. I rarely discover something it can’t do. In the real world, I’m also an oil painter and a sculptor.
Q: Describe your art style.
A: Erratic and whimsical. Emotional self-portraits. “Illustrative.”
Q: Do you have any additional comments?
A: I really enjoy the community of artists I’ve found on Tumblr and I’m quite happy right now to be a part of it!
