Q: Is your tumblr for art or is it a personal blog as well?

Q: How often do you post art?
A: I tend to post every other week or so, depends what I’m working on. I will definitely be posting a lot more now I have a tumblr especially for my own work
Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works?
A: I have only really posted finished art pieces so far. However, the drawing process whether it be sketching, painting, doodles, notes or photos are so important to any finished works, therefore I will be posting more ‘in progress’ works
Q: What types of mediums do you use?
A: I currently use loads of different mediums, being a student means I experiment with quite a few. My two favourites would definitely have to be acrylic and watercolour paint
Q: Describe your art style.
A: I’d have to go with fairly realistic, but I also have a very illustrative way of working. When painting any detailed realistic painting, say a portrait, I aim to improve on the actual photo by adding character through light and colour

I’m 17, in my final year at school and am hoping to study illustration at university, I love working in sketchbooks and am constantly working on something arty. I’m inspired by loads of artists and illustrators but the one who started my passion for realism was Sarah Graham, whose work I adore. I also admire Alyssa Monks whose paintings are crazy amazing..
