Q: Is your tumblr for art or is it a personal blog as well?A:  It’s definitely just for my illustration work, but to not let my personal life get mixed up in it is kind of impossible, so it’s a bit of both.Q: How often do you post art?A: Not often enough.  I try to post some sort of project once a week, or at least, post about a project once a week.  Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works?A:  Sometimes I do, especially in regards to personal work, like comic pages that I’m writing/drawing.  Lately though, a lot of my illustration work is for clients, so I can only really post something when I know it’s in the clear with them.Q: What types of mediums do you use?A:  I use traditional mediums, pencil, ink and paper.  But I’ve started relying a lot more on a drawing tablet and Photoshop for my illustrations lately.  It’s just so much easier and faster, but I’m sure one day the fact that I don’t draw on paper as much will come back to haunt me.Q: Describe your art style.A:  Well, if I’m really honest, it’s just a series of shameless attempts at styles that I see and really like from other illustrators.  My main passion with illustration is in storytelling, in graphic novels, so my work is really rooted in a comic book type of style.  I’m also a big fan of realism in illustration, so I try to go for a certain level of likeness when I depict people and places, and I’m finding my “style” ends up somewhere in between the two.  Q: Do you have any additional comments?A:  Nope!
