Q: Is your tumblr for art or is it a personal blog as well?
A: This is actually both for art and personal as well, but, most of my posts would be for my art.
Q: How often do you post art?
A: This will depend on my schedule. I am an employed guy who sometimes have the time to do art, and of course, sometimes don’t. This past few months I was able to submit more frequently for my company didn’t require much of my effort and energy, but lately, we were pretty busy with the business, so, please bear with me. Very soon, I hope I could have the time.
Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works?
A: Only finished works. When I start the work, it’ll be continuous. I only stop to give it a rest, but, never came to my mind scanning it before the final work. I don’t know, maybe, I’m just lazy to scan it, or afraid that it will ruin my work.
Q: What types of mediums do you use?
A: I use graphite pencils. I am now practicing using charcoals, compressed and vine. I loved the freedom I am having with graphite that you will not get with charcoal, but I love the contrast that charcoal can give. So, I am now trying to develop and get the feel of using it. It’ll be so rewarding.
Q: Describe your art style.
A: Traditional and Black, That’s it. I love the monochrome style of art. For now, you’ll see realistic portrait drawings for it is my most demanding style requested by clients. But, I’d love to make an abstract, scenery and landscapes sometimes, so I could express myself more.
Q: Do you have any additional comments?
A: I want to thank christyyessir for inviting me to be featured here in AD. It is an honor. For youngsters aspiring to be an artist, my only advice is don’t get easily frustrated when your drawings are not yet that good. Remember, we were all born not able to draw. The only difference between you and me is perseverance and patience. If you know you can do it, you really could.
