Q: Is your tumblr for art or is it a personal blog as well?
A: My tumblr is also a personal blog as well, I don’t typically post much text about myself, but I post photographs and other artwork I find inspirational.
Q: How often do you post art?
A: I usually post art once or twice a week, sometimes more often and sometimes less often depending on how busy I am!
Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works?
A:I mostly post finished works, but occasionally I like to post progress shots, especially for my larger paintings.
Q: What types of mediums do you use?
A: I was trained in oil painting and figure drawing when I was younger and then I studied fashion design in San Francisco, Ca. Now I mostly focus on watercolor, ink, golf leaf, charcoal, and pencil. I am devoted to works on paper!
Q: Describe your art style.
A: I suppose it can be considered a fashion illustration style. Instead of distorting the figure to make a longer, leaner silhouette, I strive for realistic facial and body proportion. I am inspired by byzantine art, expressionism, and art nouveau.
