Q: Is your tumblr for art or is it a personal blog as well?
A: Both actually. My art is incredible personal to me and I use it as a vehicle to express those things I can’t articulate well enough. If you mean is it a professional blog, then no. I might start one of those but who’s to say. I like just being myself right now.

Q: How often do you post art?
A: I’m not sure, weekly, sometimes daily. It depends on when I draw and what. My blog started out as a way to keep track of all the illustrations and drawings I had done. So, if you peruse it, you’ll see a variety of different styles and mediums.

Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works?
A: I post both. For a while I was worried that I was a bit boring if not redundant with my incessant process updates. But, I think it’s interesting for people to see how I work. I also post sketches of ideas I have. It helps me to get a feel for the piece as a whole. Sometimes I like an idea, put it out there and find that it’s not something I like.

Q: What types of mediums do you use?
A: Everything I can get my hands on. I see the ability to create art from anything. I keep a painted coyote skull nailed to wall above my bed because I feel it’s beautiful. I’ve painted, inked, sculpted, carved, worked digitally and use pencil. ( Pencil being my weapon of choice. ) I love experimenting with everything. A LOT of it ends in failure a few turn out and end up being something that just seems to sing with me on a deeper level.

Q: Describe your art style.
A: I like detail and usually find myself working on a smaller scale. Though, I’ve never pigeonholed myself into a “style” there are some things that I find myself drawn to when I work. (No pun intended.)
