Q: Is your tumblr for art or is it a personal blog as well?
A: It is a personal blog and a way to get silly things off my chest. Also a way of showing my friends what illustrations I am working on.
Q: How often do you post art?
A: Not often enough! Once or twice a month on average. I have only been doing it for a month actually! Can I change my answer??
Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works?
A: Both - I always love seeing the drawing process in other illustrators and often these rough, expressive sketches are much better than the finished piece. I have not yet learned the knack of leaving a painting alone before ruining it with over the top effects. These blogs can be a lovely way of glimpsing other artists “sketchbooks” and seeing how they work.
Q: What types of mediums do you use?
A: Sketch with pencil on any old bit of paper and then on to Photoshop. I respect traditional mediums alot more (there is no undo button on a canvas and you can never ever ever escape that shiny digital look can you?!) but for tight deadlines you can’t beat the speed of a mac.
Q: Describe your art style.
A: Imagine you’re on a weathered hill top surveying a magical city where ancient Dragons circle high above and the smell of hobbits fills the air. So…fantasy nonsense then.
